Bridget is training for the May National Team Camp.
She might compete a few events at the US Classic in May.
Her main focus right now is on the VISA Championships in June.
November 2007
Bridget travel to Beijing China to compete in the official Olympic
Test Event in the NEW Olympic Indoor Stadium.
Bridget does herself and America proud by taking the Bronze Medal
All Around & and the Silver on Floor Exercise (4th on Beam).
August 2007
Bridget makes the decision to compete as a Senior at the VISA
Championships (at 15 she is technically a Junior).
She does great as a Sr., placing in the top 3 AA on the first day,
and 5th AA overall.
And... She is named to the 2007 World Team!!!

Bridget is the alternate for the Pan American Games.
Instead of going to Brazil we plan to make an impression
US Classic in Battle Creek, MI.
And what an impression she made...
1st Place All Around (by three points)!

Bridget turns 15 on June 23rd. Happy Birthday Bridget!
She has been training hard for the Pan Am Camp.
Wish her luck... camp begins on June 30th.
May/June 2007
Bridget qualifies for the Pan Am Training Squad (competition at the ranch, May 29th). She will attend the Pan Am final selection camp June 30th, where the 6 person team will be decided.
May 2007
Bridget makes a personal appearance at the Ohio Valley Gymnastics Conference Championships. She signs some autographs, talks about her training, and wishes all the girls good luck in their competition.
Bridget is off to The Ranch again on May 27th.
April 2007
Bridget finishes 4th AA in verification at the April training camp (1st on FX). She has the highest "B" score of any athlete with a 9.40 on floor for a total of 15.40.
March 2007
Bridget has such a successful competition in Texas (USA vs World, 3rd AA) that she is asked to join the USA team in Ireland for the USA vs UK, where she places 6th AA, 3rd on FX.

At the February assignment camp Bridget earns spots in two competitions, USA vs World in Houston, TX & International Gymnix in Montreal, CA.
January 2007
Bridget has a camp at the end of the month (27th) at the Ranch. The camp will also include gymnasts from Japan & the U.K..

Bridget and her Coach Marvin Sharp celebrate 10 years together on December 19th! Bridget started with coach Sharp Dec. 19th 1996. That's a long time...

Bridget attends her first National Team Camp of the 2006/07 season.
Camp is the week before Thanksgiving & give Martha the chance to see how the girls have progressed since the VISA Championships.

Bridget is taking it easy on the ankle for a couple weeks. Working a few new skills while keeping up with the old ones. Our next Nat. Team camp isn't until November. She is back in school and doing well.

Bridget worked very hard on rehabbing her ankle while still try to keep up on her skills and routines. In only two weeks she was able to recover enough to attend the VISA Championships and compete on VA, UB & BB. She did so well on those events (4th, 4th & 3rd) that Martha put her back on the US Team. Great Job Bridget!

Bridget attended a National Team Training camp at the ranch over the 4th of July. Bridget attended the US Classic late July, but sprained her ankle during vault warm-ups and was not able to compete. We were all worried she might not be able to compete in the VISA Championships in August.
May 2006
No camps until May 24th, so Bridget is working on a couple new skills. Not going to add much, just one or two new things before polishing her routines for Classic and Championships.

Bridget is on her way to camp in Houston, once again.

Bridget wins silver medal in the All Around at the L'International Gymnix in Montreal. Bridget, Sam Peszek, Tessa Pama, & Shawn Johnson represented the USA by taking the top 4 AA spots, March 17-19th. Bridget also won the silver medal on beam, and bronze on vault.
February, 2006
Tammy Biggs (US National Staff) comes to SGA to choreograph Bridget's new beam routine.
Bridget competes at the SCATS invitational (just for fun) in California.
Bridget is on her way to the American Cup selection camp. Bridget (a junior) is not trying for American Cup, but if she does well might get another international assignment... wish her luck. At camp... Bridget is selected, along with 3 other Jr's to represent the USA at L'International Gymnix in Montreal, CA, March 17-19th.
